How we look after your personal data

Who we are
This website is run by JJ Agency Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (No. 15218044), 82A James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Suffolk, IP28 7DE, UK. We are the “controller” of the personal data described here. Questions about your data: anastasiia@jj-agency.co.uk.
What we collect
- What you send in our form: your name, phone number, whether you want to rent or buy, the country, who is moving, dates, budget, and for buyers how you plan to pay, whether you live in the UK and your preferred area.
- Messages you send us by WhatsApp, Telegram or email, and what you tell us during consultations.
- Where you came from, for example a partner’s link, so we know who recommended us.
- When you become a client: the documents needed for your move or purchase, such as ID, proof of income or funds, and references.
Your language, light or dark mode and checklist ticks are saved only in your own browser. We don’t receive them.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange your free consultation, and to provide the services you ask for. These are steps before or under a contract with you.
- To meet legal duties, such as identity and anti-money-laundering checks for purchases, Right to Rent checks and keeping business records.
- For our legitimate interests: running and improving our service and knowing which partners recommend us.
We don’t sell your data, and we don’t send marketing unless you ask for it.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that help us run the business: Web3Forms (delivers the form to our email), Google Workspace (email), Cloudflare (website hosting and our secure client database), and WhatsApp or Telegram if you contact us there.
- People involved in your move or purchase, only when needed and with your agreement: landlords, letting and estate agents, our partner solicitors, mortgage brokers, guarantor companies and moving companies.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Some providers and members of our team work outside the UK. When your data is transferred abroad, we use the safeguards required by UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead to a service are deleted after 12 months. Client records are kept for 6 years after our work ends, as required for legal and tax purposes.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you your data, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, object to its use or send it to you in a portable format. Write to anastasiia@jj-agency.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
This website
Partner links. If you open a partner’s link (for example jj-agency.co.uk/r/…), we save that partner’s code in a cookie and in your browser, so the partner is credited if you contact us later, and we count the visit without storing your IP address. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser’s data for this site.
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and the phone check uses a library from jsDelivr, so these services see your IP address when the page loads. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps short technical logs for security.
